We have recently taken on an adorable duo "Cassie and Pep". They arrived at SCAN following the disaster in Valencia and we were devastated to learn that their loving parents sadly died in the flood, as their car was washed off a bridge.
Their parents were also very loyal supporters of a local animal shelter in Valencia. It has been our privilege to take Cassie and Pep into SCAN.
Cassie and Pep's lives have been completely turned around, but we have settled them into SCAN and we are trying our hardest to make them happy.
They are closely bonded and are always looking out to each other for support and reassurance. We believe they spent a lot of time in their own campo area, as when they arrived they were not familiar with collars or leads, but they love being outside. They were clearly very loved and very well looked after.
They have been on a diet as well over the past month and have got used to walking on a lead. They are now bossing their walks, happy to venture out, taking our volunteers further each day and their waistlines are slimming down!
Cassie is the smooth haired girl and Pep is the long haired boy. They are super affectionate, quiet and calm.
They are both 9 years old and are now looking for a new family and a quiet life somewhere lovely, with hopefully a comfortable sofa.
